Imagine a world where we were all blessed with long and voluminous lashes. Amazing, right? But as always, life is so unfair! I mean all the men in our lives with those long lashes don’t even know how lucky they are. Luckily, we have falsies or we wouldn’t know how to make our eyes look all big, dramatic and… ahem… flirtatious!
While falsies are great, they can also be painful and messy at times. Imagine your falsie sticking out as you’re talking to a friend or worse giving a presentation. Yikes! Well, if you’re worried about applying and removing your false eyelashes, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you do just that.
Applying false lashes
Lash glue can be quite messy to work with and then there’s always the fear of applying too much of it. To avoid this, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Squeeze some glue on the back of your hand.
Step 2: Take a bobby pin and use the round edge to carefully apply glue to the base of the strip.
Step 3: Place it gently on top of your natural lashes and done!
Removing false lashes
Now the difficult part. Never ever pull your fake lashes off. No matter how tired or drunk you are, this is one of the worst beauty mistakes. You will end up damaging a lot of your natural lashes. This is the right way to do it:
Step 1: Soak a Q-tip in an oil-free makeup remover.
Step 2: Gently massage your lash line with the Q-tip.
Step 3: The falsies will fall off naturally. No tugging or pulling required!
