It takes forever to find the right shade of lipstick for your skin tone. And after all the effort, it doesn’t stay long enough. By the time you reach your destination, your lipstick has either faded or spread on to the rest of your face. If you spend the maximum part of your day checking up on your lipstick, you need help.
We know you have a busy schedule and don’t have the time to touch up your lipstick every time you sip coffee or bit into something. And reapplying lipstick at your desk is a strict no-no. So what do you do to make your lipstick last longer? Try this trick below.
You will need:
- Setting powder
- Fluffy brush
Step 1: After prepping your lips apply your favourite lipstick as you normally would.
Step 2: Once you are satisfied, place the sheet of tissue on your freshly painted lips.
Step 3: Now dust some setting powder on your lips through the tissue using the fluffy brush. Lightly tap the powder on the tissue, do not rub it.
This trick works because the powder absorbs excess moisture from the lipstick and keeps it in place for a longer time. If you want the shine back apply a coat of sheer gloss. However, if you were aiming for a matte look, this trick will also make your creamy or glossy lipstick matte in seconds!
