There is something about florals, that instantly adds a touch of freshness to anything. And with the advent of the spring/summer season, we are majorly crushing over everything that spells floral.
We recently spotted Rakul Preet Singh on the cover of Femina Wedding Times looking every inch like a romantic, dreamy bride. We loved the detailing on the beige ruffled dress, the statement neckpiece, rose-adorned hair, and the lovely, soft makeup.
We are totally taking notes of her lovely makeup and playing copycats this wedding season...
Base

We love Rakul’s base makeup. It is matte and makes her face looks chiselled and flawless. Start by applying the Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer. Apply a dollop of the Lakmé Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse 16hr and blend it in properly for a seamless finish. Follow that up with the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer under the eyes and other areas of the face that need concealing.
Face

Rakul’s face looks super chiselled and sharp. To achieve this effect start with contouring your face using the Lakmé Absolute Highlighter - Moon-Lit and use the same palette to highlight the high points of your face. Use the Kareena Kapoor Khan Lakmé Absolute Cheek Contour in Rose Gold to add a pop of colour to your cheeks.
Eyes

Soft brown smokey eyes are ruling the beauty circuit, and we love Rakul’s eyes. Use the brown and golden shades of the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette. Line your upper and lower lash lines using the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal and smudge it out for the smokey eye look.
Lips

The brown lips add an amazing touch of retro-romantic and is a welcome change from the usual pinks and reds. Use the Lakmé Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Lip Definer in the shade Sepia and colour it with the Lakmé 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip & Cheek Color - Coffee Lite
