How to cover redness in a snap with a green colour corrector

If you think colour correctors are nothing but a marketing gimmick, think again. When used right, these game-changing products can transform your makeup look and how! This is especially true of green correctors. If you have redness on your face due to a skin condition or acne, a green colour corrector needs to find a place in your makeup kit, STAT.

Here’s how you can include in your daily makeup routine…

Step 01: Prime

Step 04: Conceal

Once you’ve completed your skincare routine(CTM), apply a coin-sized amount of the Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer all over your face, focusing more on the areas of your face that tend to get oily. This will help in blurring out your pores and giving your skin a super smooth and even finish.

Step 02: Colour correct

Step 04: Conceal

After the primer, it’s time to use the colour corrector. Start by applying a tiny of the product wherever you see redness on your face. Use a very little amount of the product as a little goes a long way and you don’t want the green colour peeking through your makeup. Blend everything in using a makeup brush, sponge or even your fingers.

Step 03: Foundation

Step 04: Conceal

After applying the colour corrector, apply a medium to full coverage foundation such as the Lakme 9 To 5 Primer + Matte Foundation and blend. This will cover up the green colour and make your skin look even-toned.

Step 04: Conceal

Step 04: Conceal

This is the final step of your base makeup. If you find the green peeking through your foundation, apply a very tiny amount of the Lakme Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer on the areas that need coverage.

This should even out your skin tone and give you a beautiful, skin-like natural finish. Awesome, isn’t it?
