#1 You can use milk, it’s that easy
Raw milk is all you need to clean your face. Take a cotton ball and dip it in the milk and use that to wipe your face. It’s that simple, really.
#2 Olive oil is such a boon!
Trust us when we say that olive oil is a blessing in your vanity kit. You can mix a few drops of extra virgin olive oil with 8-10 drops of rose water. Dip a cotton ball and use it to clean your face and neck. This mixture will further moisturise your skin and keep it hydrated.
#3 Coconut oil to the rescue
Even that waterproof makeup is no big deal if you have a coconut oil at your disposal. Apply it on you face and wipe off with cotton or a tissue.
#4 Give me some honey!
Honey’s antibacterial properties help cure acne and it also contains enzymes that help slough away dead skin cells. Honey when mixed with baking soda acts like a makeup remover. It’s highly effective, yet extremely gentle on your skin.
#5 Cucumber juice helps
We all know that cucumber is a cooling agent for your face. If you have oily skin, use cucumber joice to remove your makeup. This will also brighten dull skin. If you have heavy makeup to remove, add a few drops little olive or jojoba oil to the cucumber juice and wipe away!
#6 Yogurt is essential
Yogurt is rich in lactic acid, fats and protein and helps detoxify your skin. If you wash your face with yogurt, it will not only remove your makeup but also moisturise your skin. Use your trusted cotton pad to take off the makeup. Later, rinse off with cool water.
#7 Hot water steam
If you want to give your face a thorough cleanse, steam is very effective. Once you’ve used any of the aforementioned ingredients, give your face a good steam session. This will help unclog your pores. Post this, rinse off your face with cool water to close your pores. You’ll see that your skin looks squeaky clean and refreshed.
