On-fleek eyebrows speak louder than words. Hands down!

If you’re a brushes-brows-but-doesn’t-brush-hair kind of a girl, then this article may just save you from stepping out with untamed brows, even on days when you’re running out of a brow gel. Today, I’m going to let you in on a secret weapon that I came across on a particular day my eyebrows were behaving like an unruly child and there was not a drop of brow gel in sight.

There’s a common hair product that you are using almost every day which can double up as a brow gel. Let’s give you a hint! This product tames pesky flyaways, gives your hair a smooth finish and… comes in a spray bottle. Yes, you guessed it right! We’re talking about hair spray!

You’ll be surprised to know that your regular hair spray can come in handy on days when you’re running out of brow gel and don’t want to step out with unkempt eyebrows. Here’s how to use a hair spray to tame unruly brows.

The hack

The hack

Firstly, don’t spritz hair spray on your eyebrows the way you would on your hair. This can turn out to be dangerous. In fact, avoid using the spray bottle directly. Mist some spray a good six to 10 inches away onto the bristles of a spoolie or a clean toothbrush. The point is to make the bristles of your brush damp and not wet. Now, go over with the brush, starting from the inner corner and slowly moving toward the outer corner using gentle upward strokes. Then, as you move closer to the tail, change the angle to smooth the hairs.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully managed to tame unruly eyebrows without any brow product!
