This one eyeshadow trend is a celebrity favourite, and ours too!

Orange is the new black! No, we aren’t talking about the series you’ve been binge watching on Netflix. What we mean is that orange has gloriously made its way into the world of makeup. So move over, black ‘cause shades like rusty orange, tawny ochre and tangerine are all the rage. This fiery colour is the hot new way to paint your lids and, honestly, we aren’t surprised.

From neon orange buff on lids to pastel orange halo around the eyes, orange eyeshadow has become a cult favourite and we have proof! Here are five times we spotted celebrities rocking orange eyeshadow and gave us major fall makeup goals...

Metallic wash

The halo effect

Esha is glimmering with a hint of metallic orange on her lids, which she smartly paired with her otherwise understated but gorgeous flowy orange dress. This is the shiniest eye makeup we have seen sans shimmer and we totally approve.

Sunset eyes

The halo effect

A beautiful shade of fiery orange on Amy’s eyes is literally outshining all other eye makeup trends. Get this sunset effect using the orange hue from Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette – French Rose and don’t forget to team it with a precise black wing.

The gloss is on

The halo effect

A sheer wash of warm orange is a subtle take on the orange eyeshadow trend and you have our desi girl to thank for dropping just the look we were waiting for. Priyanka’s latex-like orange lids and matchy-matchy pout are perfect to rock on a sunny day.

Neon love

The halo effect

Kendal Jenner seems to have a penchant for neons and we aren’t complaining. After sporting neon green eyeliner, Kendal was seen blinding her haters with every blink as she painted her lids neon orange, keeping up with the orange eyeshadow trend. The bright orange from Lakme Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette - Nude Beach will help you get this look.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know bright colours have replaced the classic black smokey eye look. The Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell, who’s always experimenting with makeup, rocked orange smoke around her eyes and gave us another totally steal-worthy look.
