How To Fake Super Flushed And Healthy Skin With Makeup
Written by Urvi DalalOct 27, 2020
Blush is that God-sent product in your vanity kit that if used right, has the ability to transform even the dullest, most lacklustre complexions and make them appear healthy and glowing. But since the application is so tricky, most women tend to steer clear of it.
But trust us, once you learn how to apply this wonder product, you’d be able to easily fake that post-workout flush without actually working out. Nope, not kidding! Clueless about how to do that? DW, because that’s exactly what we are here for! Read on as we walk you through the steps on how to use a blush to fake flushed, healthy skin in a few simple steps!
Step 01: After you’re done moisturising your skin, apply a tiny amount of the Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer all over your face. Pat the product into your skin instead of rubbing it, to increase its efficacy.
Step 02: Next, instead of applying foundation, you need to apply some blush. This will give your face a subtle, healthy flush. Take the Lakme 9to5 Weightless Mousse Lip and Cheek Colour and apply it on the apples of your cheeks. The cream formula blends really well for a natural finish. Blend the product outwards to create the effect of a slight, natural contour.
Step 03: Now it is time to apply the rest of your base makeup. Avoid applying a matte finish foundation and go for a dewy one such as the Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation. Blend a tiny amount of the product into your skin using a makeup sponge for a natural, skin-like finish.
Step 04: When it is time to set your makeup, concentrate only on those areas that tend to get oily and sweaty throughout the day. Apply the powder on your T-zone, chin, forehead and upper lips — avoid applying the setting powder on your cheeks or you’ll be defeating the whole purpose of this dewy makeup look.
