Keeping your nail polishes in spanking new condition is no child’s play. I mean, a smudged manicure is painful, but finding out that your favourite nail colour has become all gloopy and sticky hurts even more! But wait! You don’t have to throw it away. You can revive it and get the same smooth consistency of your much-loved nail polish with a simple hack.
This genius hack will not take you more than two minutes to make your nail polish as good as new. Take a look at how you can restore your sticky, clumpy and half-dried nail paint!
You will need:
- Sticky nail paint
- Cotton pad
- Nail paint thinner
First of all, get rid of the sticky residue on the brush and rim of the bottle. Take some nail paint remover on a cotton pad and wipe the gloopy product off. Next, take a nail polish thinner and add three drops of it into the bottle using a dropper. Roll the nail paint bottle between your palms to let it mix well with the polish. Check the consistency and add three more drops, only if needed. This hack will work for glitter, metallic and any regular nail polish except gel nail polish.
BB pro tip: If you accidentally use excess thinner and the nail paint becomes too thin, take the cap off and let it sit at room temperature for a day.
