If you still haven’t mastered the basic manicure style though, we are here to fix exactly that.
There are a lot of ways to steal the salon-like French manicure at home with staples like scotch tape and Band-Aid being the most common ones. But, let’s be honest. It can get hella messy and leave your nails sticky AF. We have found an easier and sure-shot hack to DIY the French manicure like an absolute pro and it only needs a rubber band! Can’t wait to try it yourself? Here is how you can use a rubber band to cheat a salon-like French manicure at home.
- Rubber band
- Nail paint
Paint your nails with a base coat and let it dry completely. Wrap a broad rubber band right below the tip of your nail and stretch it from below with your thumb or other finger to keep it firm. Take your nail paint and paint the tip of your nail. Then take the rubber band off carefully. This will give you a neat and salon-like French manicure. Repeat the same with rest of the nails and finish with a top coat.
