beauty conversation with supermodel alesia raut

BB: What do you love about being a model?

AR: I get to try a lot of new clothes, I get to execute the vision of a designer and that really excites me.

BB: Any food you rely on for glowing skin?

AR: Water and green tea.

BB: How do you deal with a bad hair day?

AR: Oil, shampoo and lots of conditioner.

BB: What is the one beauty trend that are you loving right now?

AR: Currently, I am loving a lot of face masks. I don’t end up going to the salon, so I have been buying face masks and applying them almost every alternate day.

BB: 3 beauty products you can’t live without?

AR: Lip balm, mascara and eyebrow products.

BB: One beauty tip or routine that’s really important for a model?

AR: When I get up in the morning, I start my day by drinking 1 litre of water.

BB: A beauty trend you never want to see again?

AR: Dark lip pencil and then a lighter shade of lipstick.

BB: Who do you look up to for beauty inspiration?

AR: Kangana Ranaut and Sonam Kapoor.

BB: What do you prefer for a festive lookbold and dramatic or natural and dewy?

AR: Natural and dewy.

BB: What’s going to be the biggest trend this season according to you?

AR: It’s going to be a bold lip colour and very nude makeup; no heavy duty makeup on the face.

BB: What’s your go-to hairstyle with an Indian outfit?

AR: If I have managed to set my hair, then I prefer to leave them open. But if I have not, then I will just tie a low bun, and add a flower to get that vintage and classy look.

BB: One beauty tip or hack you have inherited from your mother or grandmother?

AR: Apply aloe vera on my face.

BB: The theme of LFW this year is #Freeyourlips. So what according to you is that one topic that women should speak up for?
