When it comes to eye makeup, we always move towards the good ol’ black eyeliner. The latest technique in eyeliner is the upside down eye liner—the reverse of the simple black eyeliner you usually apply on your upper lash line. Want to know how to create it the celebrity way? Use the stepwise guide below…
For your eye makeup to last longer, you need to ensure that you start with a primer. Make sure you apply it on your lids so your lids don’t get oily during the day. We suggest using the Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Primer for this purpose.
Choose your liner
Choosing a longlasting eyeliner is crucial at this point. Make sure you go for something like the Lakmé Eyeconic Liner that’s super easy and lasts all through the day.
Colour your lids
While the focal point of this look will be the upside down eye liner, you also need to ensure that your lids don’t look too dull. So use a nude eyeshadow all over your lids and crease area while blending it to perfection.
Line your lower lash line
Now for the main part of this look—line the waterline with the eyeliner and make sure you take the flick upwards from the outer corner of your eyes to create an under eyeliner look.
Line your upper lash line
Using the same eyeliner, line your upper lash line. Make sure you draw close to your upper lashline. Connect the liner on the outside with your bottom flick.
