1. Lipsticks


Many women have stopped using lipsticks amidst the pandemic because of face masks. However, if you are like us and can’t go without lipstick even when you are working from home, here’s how you should clean them. Use a spray which contains 70% isopropyl alcohol and wipe with a soft tissue. Do this every time you use your lipsticks. For lip liners, simply sharpen the lead.

When it comes to makeup tools, simply spraying an alcohol spray won’t be enough. You need to wash your brushes and sponge using baby shampoo and water solution. Soak them in it for a few minutes and then wash off.


3. Powders


Eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, contour and blush are fairly easy to clean. These powder formulas can be cleaned with the help of a sanitizing spray. However, spray it from a distance and let it dry completely before closing the lid.


4. Mascara


Mascaras need to be replaced every six months, so if you’ve not purchased a new one, we recommend doing so immediately. Using an alcohol spray on a mascara wand can be risky as it can irritate your eyes. Use disposable mascara wands to stay safe.
