Makeup is viewed as a confidence booster or a tool that allows one to feel comfortable about the way they look. These stereotypes are no longer true; in fact, makeup artists are now using makeup to start conversations about important topics such as mental health.

Serena Adelaide is one such makeup artist that we’ve been following for quite some time now. The makeup artist currently has over 12k followers on Instagram and creates some of the most unique and drool-worthy looks. Scroll through her feed and we bet you’ll be hooked.

However, for one of her recent makeup looks, the artist created a thoughtful mail-themed look that has a letter addressed to her self-doubt.

Apart from a stunning aqua blue eye look and blood-red lipstick, the look also consists of hand-drawn letters on the cheeks that addresses one common problem that a lot of us struggle with — self-doubt. One of the letters reads: "Dear self-doubt, we're breaking up..." in an intricately drawn blue and red envelope.

Her caption delves deeper into the inspiration behind her look. Here’s what she had to say: “You’ve got mail. Who here has been personally victimized by Miss Self-Doubt? Raise your hands honestly I’m so sick of her and how she puts me down everyday for not being good enough so guess what B? I’m breaking up with you and I’m walking away from your toxic a$$ gUdBYe! pEriOdT!”

We can’t wait to see what Serena posts on her feed next, but this boundary-breaking makeup look surely won us over!
