Why use your fingers when you have hundreds of application tools at your disposal, right? Because sometimes your brush and sponges cannot give the natural look you’re after. Also, you tend to waste a lot of product while working with these tools, which have a tendency of absorbing them as they help blend your makeup. So, today we’re about to help you put the tools you were born with to best use.

Foundation and concealer

Foundation and concealer

Liquid foundation and concealer are probably the easiest to work with without brushes. All of us at some point have used our finger to do this and know that it’s no rocket science. Use your index and middle finger to dot the products all over your face and then start blending from your nose, moving outwards. For concealer draw a triangle under your eyes with the Lakme Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer’s doe foot applicator and then blend outwards.

Blush and contour

Applying blush with your fingers is easier as it allows you to control the amount of product that’s getting transferred. Take some of the Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos on the back of your hand pick a little on your fingertips and blend well on your cheeks. Contouring your cheeks is equally easy, use your thumb pick contouring powder from the Lakme Absolute Highlighter - Moon-Lit and make one hard stroke on the cheek and blend.

Eye shadow

Powder eye shadows such as the Lakme Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette work really well when applied using fingers. To create an easy smokey eye look, dab some white shadow base using the tip of your ring finger and add a layer of brown pigment over it. It will give you a smooth finish and better control.
