Tried every trick in the book, but still can’t manage to conceal those pesky under-eye bags and dark circles? You’ve come to the right place.

This nasty skin woe is the number one reason why your face looks tired and dull. Additionally, more often than not, despite applying concealer, the undereye bags still show up, thereby rendering your efforts useless. But worry not, we’ve come up with a 3-step process that’ll help you conceal your dark circles like a pro and make you forget they exist.

Step 01: Ice it

Ice it

The first step in prepping your skin for flawless under-eye makeup is to gently rub an ice cube on the area. This helps reduce swelling and shrinks dilated blood vessels. It also helps drain the excess fluid and reduces puffiness and inflammation. Take an ice cube, wrap it in a muslin cloth and place it under each eye for a few minutes.

Step 02: Apply some eye cream

Never underestimate the power of eye cream before applying makeup. It helps hydrate and moisturise the area and allows your makeup to go on a lot smoother. Take a tiny bit of the Lakmé Abs Argan Oil Radiance Night Revival Eye Crème and apply it on your undereye area. Pat the product in using your ring finger to avoid tugging the area.

Step 03: Colour correct

While colour correcting doesn’t help with puffiness, it works really well to conceal severely dark undereye circles. After applying your eye cream, wait for about 3-4 minutes to allow the product to sink in completely. Next, take an orange colour corrector and apply an appropriate amount depending upon the intensity of your dark circles. Blend it properly. This will help cancel out the discolouration.

Step 04: Conceal

Conceal

After colour correcting, it is now time to conceal. Take a high coverage formula such as the Lakme Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer. This will not only hide your undereye problems but will also help brighten the area to make you look wide awake. Apply a concealer one to two shades lighter than your skin tone and blend well to ensure the orange isn’t peeking through. Set well with translucent powder and voila! You’ve got yourself perfectly flawless and bright under-eyes.
