How do magnetic lashes work?

Magnetic lashes come in a set of four – two for each eye. These lashes work by sandwiching your natural lashes between a set of two magnetic strips attached to the false lashes to keep them in place all day long. Since the magnets hold the lashes in place, there is no need to use glue and you can gladly avoid the mess that comes along with wearing traditional falsies.

Even though magnetic lashes are slightly more expensive than their traditional counterparts, they are washable and reusable, apart from being super duper convenient. This is what makes them totally worth every penny.

How to apply magnetic lashes?

How to apply magnetic lashes?

Step 01: Start by curling your eyelashes with an eyelash curler. This creates a base for the magnetic lashes to stick to and makes them look a lot more natural.

Step 02: Next, apply a coat or two of the Lakme Absolute Flutter Secrets Volumizing Mascara on your lashes. This will help open up your eyes and make the help your natural eyelashes stick better to the magnetic lashes. Additionally, remember to NEVER apply mascara to the magnetic lashes as it can end up looking clumpy and also damage the magnetic lashes.

Step 03: Magnetic lashes come with a top lash that go over your natural lashes, while the bottom lashes go underneath your top lashes. Start by curving the top lashes in the shape of a rainbow (this makes it easier to place them as close to your lash line as possible). Adjust the placement of the lashes while you are applying it.

Step 04: Once your top lash is in place, grab the bottom lash, look up and place it underneath your lash line in such a way that the magnets click together.

We know this sounds scary, but it really isn’t. You just gotta try it to know how simple and quick it really is. It takes all of two seconds to apply and comes off just as easily at the end of the day.
