Remember how Kim Kardashian made contouring popular? Yeah. That's the kind of power the American socialite wields. All she had to do was post a picture of her face striped with contour and soon enough, everyone was scrambling to get a chiselled look. Even though contouring has been around for decades, the technique isn't as simple. If you've noticed that you look more like Oompa Loompa after contouring your face, you’ve come to the right place.

We're back with another TikTok hack that shows us just how to elevate our contouring skills without much effort. Let’s take a look.

Back in the month of December, makeup theorist Megan Lavallie showed her followers how to simplify their complicated contouring technique. Her technique is super simple to achieve and takes no more than two minutes. Nope. We're not overselling.

You need contour (duh) and a brush for this hack. Draw a nickel-sized dot on the hollows of your cheeks using your contour. You can use a fluffy brush to blend the dot. Blend it well to create a subtle, but defined contour effect. And that's all that there is to this technique.

You can pair the look with heavily-coated lashes. Just swipe some of the Lakmé Eyeconic Volume Mascara and the Lakmé 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip & Cheek Color - Blush Velvet onto the lips.

Contouring isn't always equivalent to drawing precise lines on the face. And this technique is proof. Try it out and let us know how it works for you.
