Step 01: The first step is to prep your lips. Applying glitter on dry lips will only end up accentuating their appearance. Start by gently exfoliating your lips and then moisturising them with the Vaseline Lip Therapy Color & Care Chapstick – Apricot. Allow the lip balm to rest and sink into your skin for about 10 minutes.
Step 02: Wipe off the excess lip balm with a clean tissue and apply a tiny amount of the Lakme Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer all over your lip. This will even out your lips and deliver better colour pay off by creating a blank canvas for the lip makeup to follow.
Step 03: Next, line and fill in your lips using the Lakme Absolute Forever Silk Liner. Choose a shade that is closest to the lip colour you’re planning to wear.
Step 04: Next, take any shade from the Lakme Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Colour and apply it all over your lips. Allow it to dry down completely.
Step 05: Take a little bit of the Vaseline Original Pure Skin Jelly and apply it to the centre of your lips. This will work like an adhesive to keep the glitter in place. Avoid applying glitter to the corners of your mouth as it could get a little uncomfortable.
Step 06: Now, take some little loose glitter pigment (ensure that this is makeup glitter and not craft glitter as the latter can sometimes contain tiny glass particles that can cause injury) and spread it over your lips using either a flat brush or your fingers.
And voila! Your super simple, quick and totally party-ready glitter lip makeup is ready in no time.
