1. Some common ways in which heat damages your hair:

Dryness
One of the most important signs of constant heat-induced damage to hair is loss of moisture. When you constantly subject your hair to heat styling tools, the internal protein structure of your hair is damaged, causing frizz. Your hair tends to look less bouncy and is prone to easy breakage. The natural moisture is washed off permanently and the hair becomes dry due to hair straightening tools.
Changes the pigment of your hair
When you constantly expose your hair to high temperatures, your hair colour tends to lose its pigment. This is true of your natural hair colour as well as artificial hair colours. This fading is a lot more visible in darker colours such as reds, Auburn and brunette shades.
Feeling scared? We totally understand. Even so, we know that you cannot entirely give up on straightening your hair. For this reason, we have come up with some simple no heat hair straightening methods that will make your hair highly manageable, super straight, and the best part is that all these methods cause zero damage!
2. Hair wrapping

Wrapping your hair is one of the oldest and most reliable techniques for no heat hair straightening, but a lot of people find it difficult to get this technique right. This simple trick uses very few items and is usually super effective. While there are different methods for different hair textures and lengths, the basics are pretty much the same. You’ll need “long” bobby pins (three inches in length), as well as a satin “hair wrapping” scarves or turbans.
-
How to:
Step 1: Start by separating the top sections of your hair from the exact spot where you part your hair. Using a fine-toothed comb, comb the entire length of your hair flat.
Step 2: Hold your hair completely taut and bring one section of your hair around to the opposite side of your head from where it naturally falls and pin it tightly to the side of your head.
Step 3: You’ll need to repeat this method for each section of your hair.
Step 4: Secure with a hair turban before you go to sleep at night.
3. Plastic rollers

We know that the thought of using rollers for no heat hair straightening seems quite contradictive, but it is a great way to help flatten your hair while you sleep. For this hair straightening method to work perfectly, make sure you use large, wide curlers and roll them very tightly so you straighten out all curls.
Step 1: Start by generously spraying the entire length of your hair with a hair straightening spray.
Step 2: Ensure that your hair stays damp for the entire process for perfect results.
Step 3: Divide your damp hair into medium sections and roll the rollers into your hair before you go to bed. If you don’t want to keep it on for the entire night, at least leave the rollers on for 4 hours before taking them out.
Step 4: Gently remove the rollers and brush your hair to make them look super shiny and straight.
4. Incorporate hair straightening products in your styling routine

There are a number of products such as shampoos and conditioners that help cut the frizz and straighten your hair with regular use. One such shampoo is the Sunsilk Perfect Straight Lock Shampoo is enriched with silk protein that helps to gently lock in the alignment of hair strands, thus keeping them straighter and fully aligned as they dry. It will make your hair look straighter and more vibrant with regular usage. There are several other products such as leave-in conditioning products, hair smoothening serums, keratin-packed hairsprays, and just about everything else you can think of that are aimed at calming and c. It is a great idea to start with incorporating several products that are meant to straighten hair with regular us or make hair styling simpler.
5. Sleep with your hair wet

If you are a newbie to these no heat hair straightening methods, then it is completely understandable that you would be uncomfortable sleeping with rollers on your head. This is why it is best to start small and easy; simply wash your hair and hit the sack with your hair still wet.
Step 1: Using a headband tie your hair in a loose ponytail at the top of your head
Step 2: Then create a bun shape by wrapping your hair around that ponytail and securing it with another hair tie.
Step 3: Leave it on all night and untie it in the morning for straighter hair.
But a word of caution here, if you’re sleeping with wet hair, it is important to sleep on a satin pillowcase as this helps reduce hair friction and avoid hair breakage while you sleep. The reduced friction is also great for a straighter appearance in the morning.
6. Use a straightening hair mask

Another no heat hair straightening method is to use a straightening hair mask. A deep conditioning DIY hair mask is what you need to try ASAP. Since hair masks reduce frizz and moisturise your strands, they will automatically make your hair appear straighter. Try a hair mask that uses raw egg, honey, or avocado for a deep-conditioning effect. You can also use warmed coconut oil or almond oil as hot-oil treatments to infuse and strengthen curly hair.
7. Try essential oils

Essential oils have been used for centuries by women all over the world to make their hair appear tamer and shinier. So essential oils may be an amazing way to straighten hair without heat. Some essential oils are absorbed deeper into the hair shaft and these are the ones that help tame your hair and straighten them over time. Coconut oil, argan oil, almond oil, and macadamia oil can all penetrate your hair follicles, sealing and repairing the cells inside. Post the use of rollers, wrapping, or another no heat hair straightening method, you can apply the essential hair of your choice. Not only does this add a sweet scent and a beautiful gloss to your hair, but it will also weigh your hair down slightly, helping it to hold its style.
Step 1: Warm the oil by rubbing it between your palms as this helps the oil to spread more easily.
Step 2: Focus on the ends of your hair, and be careful not to apply more than a dime-sized amount.
