With each passing day of Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2019, things are getting as edgy as they possibly can– especially when it comes to hairstyles. While the makeup remains fresh and dewy with a hint of colour on the eyes, the hairstyles are stealing our hearts and how!
While most trends spotted on the runway during fashion weeks are far too OTT to take to the streets, this edition of LFW is different. On day 3 of LFW WF’19, we saw some really cool, fresh and fun hairstyles along with makeup that are perfectly easy to recreate and apt for the upcoming festive season. We’ve selected five looks from Day 3 that we fell head over heels in love with.
Abhiskek Sharma showcased his collection with models sporting stacked bobby pins in their hair. As for the makeup, the entire face was kept bare with just a swipe of sheer coral colour on the lids. We are loving the clean, fresh vibe of this look.
Jayanti Reddy gave us another reason to fall in love with good ol’ bobby pins. Dressed in a criss-cross fashion, this new take on styling bobby pins is really classy. The makeup again, was kept fresh with oodles of highlighter, fluttery lashes, defined brows and nude lips.
Gaurang Shah’s show proved once again how a bun and fresh flowers are a match made in heaven. We love how the sleek, centre-parted bun was accessorised with fresh flowers. The base makeup was kept minimal, with a hint of contouring, highlighter and a dark brown lip.
The highlight of Ritu Kumar’s show had to be the stunning hair styles. We saw sleek low buns that were accessorised with a headband. We have to say that this is one hairstyle that is equal parts edgy and classy.
The final show of Day 3 showcased Nachiket Barve’s collection in rich sheer fabrics and silhouettes. The swipe of emerald green on the eyes perfectly complemented the monochrome theme of the outfits. The hair was kept sleek and centre-parted with an embellished headband to break the monotony.
