Step 01: Hair brushes and combs have a lot of product buildup and stray hair strands entangled in the bristles, which you need to get rid of by cutting with the help of a scissor.

Step 02:  Take a big dish and fill it with warm water. Add a few drops of disinfecting liquid hand wash like the Lifebuoy Total 10 Hand Wash and soak the brush in it for some time. If you use a wooden brush, don’t soak it entirely; just submerge the bristles.

Step 03: Dip and shake the brush a few times to loosen the dirt, dead cells and product buildup between the bristles.

Step 04: Next, take an old toothbrush and deep clean the bristles to remove all the dirt stuck between the bristles.

Step 05: Lastly, rinse it under tap water and wipe the base with a clean cloth. Let the brush dry off, bristles facing down.
